Ayşe Livesley
Ayse graduated in tourism and hotel management from Bilkent University in Ankara. Ayse is a professional certified guide and leads cultural tours for International clients all over Turkey. Her love of nature, history along with walking and exploring ancient sites imbues her tours with the spirit of Turkey. Ayse is a great cook and invites you to one of her cookery classes to sample exquisite Turkish cuisine.
Dean Livesley
Dean first came travelling to Turkey in 1988 and fell in love with the place, giving up his naval profession as a marine engineer. Since then Dean has worked on many touristic projects including the set up of the ‘Lycian Way’ and built and ran the first treehouse camp in Olympos. He is a BCU trained kayak coach and mountain leader, he manages and organises all the outdoor events and activities. Dean writes a weekly column for the local English newspaper ‘Land of lights’ also author of walking guides(sunflower books) for SW Turkey and several other guide books.
Altay Özcan
Altay graduated in American literature from Hacettepe University in Ankara where he is still an active member of the mountaineering club. He is a professional certified guide , our multi activity specialist and our main photographer. Altay has paddled as a guide on the 2007 Conquest Coast Expedition on long sections of the Turkish coastline on a project that started in Iskendrum and ended in Istanbul. He loves the outdoors; either half way up a glacier with his ice axe or out paddling round the next cape.
